Ayurvedic Vibrational Healing

This May, I flew out to Albuquerque, New Mexico and took a course, “Vibrations of Light” at the Ayurvedic Institute. Three years ago, I discovered the teachings of Dr. Vasant Lad, and I enjoyed his seminars so much, I decided to immerse  myself deeper into Ayurvedic Health. This course had never been offered before, and after spending a week in a classroom with Dr. Lad who knew everything from Yoga of Herbs to Secrets of the Pulse, (two of his books, linked below), I was amazed to learn a completely different subject, gemstones, astrology and astronomy, mixed with neurology and biology. It was an incredible learning experience.

Ayurvedic Vibrational Therapy Treatment
What Is It? How Can It Help Me?

Ayurvedic Vibrational Therapy Treatments have been around as long as Ayurvedic Medicine has existed; 5000 years. Our bodies are made of the same elements found in the universe and we all have vibrations within us, in our pulse, and our voices. Vibrational Therapy Treatments include the use of an OM Tuning Fork, a Vibrational Tool used to align the Chakras and open up subtle channels in the body to restore a sense of calm and balance, this is done through your Vedic Astrology Chart.

OM is, according to Ayurveda, the sound that exists within the human body, and by chanting OM or using a tool specifically designed tool mimic the vibration in the body coming from OM we begin to align ourselves to balance out our bodies. You may recognize OM from your yoga class. Yoga and Ayurveda are cousins, and yoga incorporates many of the same principles as Ayurveda. Both allow you to be in touch with yourself on a 3 body channel, emotional, mental and physical.

In this treatment, we begin with Sandalwood Oil, and a hands on ancient touch therapy on the head, neck and shoulders. As you begin to relax, Chakra Stones are placed on the outside of the clothing, in line with each of the 7 Chakras. The OM Tuning Fork is utilized to awaken the OM vibration in the body.
Is Ayurvedic Vibrational Therapy
Like Reiki?

While both Reiki and Vibrational Therapy are used to align the Chakras to balance the body, the treatments differ in terms of “touch”. Reiki’s “hand on” approach is to raise the “life force energy”, starting in the metaphysical body and working its way into the physical body, while Ayurvedic Vibrational Therapy begins in the physical body and can have positive effects on the mind and spirit.

What Should I Expect with this Treatment?
