I’m often blogging recipes, or facts about Spirit Animals. Today is all about Aerial Yoga. This amazingly frighteningly fun way to workout. Yes, I said frightening, because I know how scary and “dangerous” it can look, especially when you watch what the Kids; The Gypsy Tribe Dakini’s, in the Aerial Architecture©™ classes are doing. What they are learning, is Cirque type moves, and that is what they are training for. Whether they stick with it throughout life as a practice or a profession, we focus on safety, form and execution of movement.
These principles are also applied in adult classes, the result being a challenging class where you feel safe and in control, yet fun and lighthearted.
Physical Benefits of Aerial Yoga are:
Increased core strength and stability (balance) within the body.
Spinal decompression and gentle tension release due to counteracting gravity.
